PAT'S COFFEE PUNCH

6 tbsp. instant coffee
2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 qt. milk
2 pt. Dairy Queen ice cream
1 qt. ginger ale

Dissolve instant coffee in 1 cup boiling water.  Add sugar and second cup of boiling water; mix and chill.  Add milk, ice cream, and ginger ale.  Chill until ready to serve.
